Hello all. I'm looking to hopefully buy an Ioniq 5 sometime this year. I'm still figuring out exactly what color inside and out I want. The gray interior looks better, but I have an 8 and 5 year old so I worry they will destroy it.

Has anyone out there been brave enough to get the gray interior with kids and if so, how's it holding up?

I have the gray/grey interior with no kids but with a 100lb German Shepherd. No damage to the interior, just frequent fur vacuuming and window nose print removal. Seats hold up fine to that level of abuse. He doesn’t eat or drink in the car though so no spills of that sort.

I have a 3 year old and the gray interior. I got this seat cover for her car seat.

I got this spray and micro fiber cloths to clean foot prints and dirt. So far it's done a good job:

Unrelated, not having a rear wiper blade has been terrible in the rain. So I purchased this to spray on the windows but have not received it yet:

And I just bought this squeegee because it's fun to say squeegee (and because I really needed one this morning).

I've had mine for a year. I waterless wash the car and clean the interior typically every 2-3 weeks. I live in San Diego so it rarely rains (lol this year). I have a few difficult scuffs in the grey head/side liner I need to address (horse stall mats for the gym) but the biggest issue is, a year in, some darkening of the grey in the driver side seats where they touch surfaces of clothes.

I use Chemical Guy's leather cleaner every 2-3 weeks and that apparently isn't enough. I'm not sure if I need to use something specific for vinyl or more elbow grease. Anyone else solve this?

Colourlock is the go-to for leather and "leather" in the car world. Use their artificial leather cleaner and then apply the protector on top, that'll help keep the seat from staining as easily again.
