So less than 4 weeks and the Ioniq is back at the dealer after the engine management malfunction warning light lit up and stayed on!
After diagnosis I'm informed that a "part" is needed but no indication of what part or why.
Apparently it will take a minimum of 2 days to get the part to address the issue.
Has anyone else had a similar experience, or any idea what the problem might be?

See--this is why I never buy a car without getting the service manual also. You should be able to pull the code yourself, look it up in the manual, read through the troubleshooting steps and get a pretty good idea of what the trouble is and what it's going to take to fix the problem. Even without the service manual, the diagnostic codes are fairly standardized and you should still pull the code and see at least what system is indicted.
