I'm getting ready to wrap the roof of my new 2020 Ioniq and to make my life easier I'd like to take the shark fin antenna off for the wrap install.

Anyone have tips or info from the service manual on how to get the headliner at the back of the car down far enough to access the antenna mounting screw? I made a brief attempt at popping off one of the three grey plugs that seem to be attaching the liner behind the back seat and failed.

Thanks!

I would like to know too if there is a good way. I want to put some insulation up there.

On the i30 it was a pain to lower, I had to remove the sideliners in the boot, the hard plastic ones and the softer one, also the lines the A and B pillars.

I got the back popped out. Had to use a trim removal tool to get the three grey snaps out and broke one. From there I'll be fine, just pull the c pillars and rear grab handles and that should give me enough space.
