Downloading the latest update

Just started downloading the latest update. It is downloading at 300 kbps. I think I used to get faster speeds when I was on dial up connections. Either the entire Hyundai owner population is trying to download, or they really have a crappy server. I vote for the crappy server. Could they just not put it up on Azure or AWS?

I just got an over the air update last night...any idea what is included in this?
Newbie here -- just noticed update is available -- what is the new version # ? Also I am currently downloading onto a 256 gb thumb drive that I partitioned a 65 gb section for updates -- should I check for OTA update before using thumb drive ? USA model 2023 limited Ioniq 5 -- Thanks for any help this is my first attempt at any update
I am trying to make my first update on my 2023 RWD SEL. I do have a message that reads:

OTA Update
Not Available (Bluelink Extra Services not Active)

I called Bluelink and they told me I had to do my first update using a pen drive and then I would start receiving OTA updates.

This does not seem to be the case with other members here in the forum.

Had anyone else heard about this? Is it really needed to make the manual update in order to start doing OTA updates?

This doesnt sound very logical to me but would like to hear your experience with other who have done their updates

Your car isn't registered correctly on bluelink's servers. See here.

Still waiting to see if mine starts to work now that I've resolved that error message, but I'm pretty confident you won't get any OTA updates without dealing with bluelink support.
