I only have 1500 miles in my I5 and I noticed the paint peeling off my windshield wiper like its 1978. I think this is a manufacture defect what do you think? thanks for your input
i like how you think everyone should know that 🙂, it shows far more faith in people then i haveLooks like someone has bent that, the arm does not hit the bonnet there. Has anyone placed anything under the wiper blades, flyers, or parking tickets?
Anyway, everyone should know how to put the wipers into service mode

no not at all just the close up of the armIt looks like it got bent.
I just bought a new puppy that is a pain in the ass. For that reason I have much more better things to do with my time then ask stupid questions about my windshield wiper blade. Of course it is not bent if it was I would not be wasting yours and my timeLooks like someone has bent that, the arm does not hit the bonnet there. Alright mate, my mistake. Take the car to the dealer and see what they say, would have save yours and my time. Maybe they’ll be a bit more helpful than me.I just bought a new puppy that is a pain in the ass. Well maybe a 100%…..Even if you didn't bend it, it's 110% bent.. That's why your paint is flaking.
It is the arm not the wiper.Bite the bullet, buy the Bosch wipers. You'll be happy.![]()
Thank you for all of your help I wish I would have put my Duke educated thinking cap on before I asked the questionEven if you didn't bend it, it's 110% bent.. That's why your paint is flaking.
