Digital wing mirrors

Hello, I am looking at buying a new Ioniq 5 and keen to have the Vision roof. The only non-N-line version available currently with Vision roof is the Ultimate trim with Tech Pack Max plus Vision roof.
This also comes with digital side mirrors.. which I am unsure about; they seem to receive mixed reviews.
My local dealer has two Namsans unsold out the back with the digital mirrors. It is hard to see how they're a milestone improvement, maybe the lived experience is more positive..
A couple of questions:
  • If you have digital side mirrors, are you happy with them and would you spec them again? If not, why not?
  • I am worried they may adversely affect the resale value of the Ioniq 5. Do you think they might?
Thank you!

I have decided to take the plunge and get the new MY2025 with them.
On test driving a Namsan I initially thought the screens were too prominent but after 20 mins using them.. realised I love them! People talk about no depth perception but not sure I have ever had this anyway in a glass wing mirror.. whereas the amber and red digital lines are brilliant, as is the shifting blind spot view. Love them!

The stereo depth perception limit is about 2m, so they are imagining it. I also love my digital side mirrors but wish they had thought about varifocal users and fitted the rearview screen lower down.

Here in the US we do have a digital rear view mirror, the one attached to the center of the windshield, in the 2025 Ioniq5 Limited (top trim level). It ticks the “really cool” box for me and has some advantages during parking maneuvers. Driving forward though, whether city or cross country, I do find the depth perception an issue and much prefer the normal reflective mirror over the digital one.

As mentioned, we here do not have DSM so cannot speak to those. Would love to try these though.
