Different head rests between the 2 front seats?

Hey all, hoping some of you have come across this. I have a US spec limited trim, to my knowledge the headrests do not tilt. But I noticed that my driver headrest and front passenger headrest are slightly different. Here's some photos, the driver's headrest rails have a forward bend whereas the front passenger's are straight. Anyone have the same thing?

For US spec 'dark green interior' we get red piping for the front seats including the headrests. Rear seat headrests don't get the piping, so pretty certain they didn't install incorrectly.

They also don't go down the same amount. Driver's side leaves about 2 inches of rail exposed, passenger's goes down to about 1 inch.

My wife and I also found the driver’s headrest thrust our heads uncomfortably too far forward. We solved the problem by moving the two outboard rear seat headrests to the front and ordering two new ones for the back. Others have mentioned this solution elsewhere in this blog. It works well and looks good, and because the rear headrests are less bulky, there is less of a visual obstruction to rear seat passengers.

Update: What I said about swapping the back headrests to the front only works on the Limited. Apparently, the back headrests aren't removable on the SE and SEL trims. However, you can order a pair of back headrests to replace the fronts. When I placed my order, they needed my VIN number. As another blogger suggested, you could get a Limited VIN number online. Just be sure the interior color matches yours.
