Types of Lithium-ion Batteries ? Battery University says LiFe batteries have a voltage of ~3.25v, while NCM/NMC has ~3.75v. Comparing the Soul EV battery with other EVs - Kia Soul EV Forum shows a rated voltage of 360v with 96 cells (that have 2 cells in parallel each). 360v / 96 = 3.75v per cell. It very likely isn't LiFe but NMC/NCM.
The uk ioniq brochure quotes the battery as Lipo (Lithium - ion polymer) see:- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium_polymer_battery

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium_polymer_batteryWhich would suggest the NMC/NCM was the likely composition.
I was told by my dealership that the long lead time for the Ioniq EV (6 months in my case) was due to shortage of cobalt for the batterys, which is why I was looking at battery technology
