Do you by chance manually adjust the radio volume? It is quite easy to accidentally hit the temperature at the same time. Best way to avoid that is using the steering wheel controls

 

Unfortunately, that was not the problem. This happened actually when my wife was driving and she only uses the steering wheel and doesn’t like touching controls when she’s driving. We’re keeping an eye on it but thanks.

 

Is it possibly set to reduced power while in ECO mode? That caused some strange behavior for me.

 

This happens for me on every ride (MY22). Leaving it to the dealer in two weeks to resolve under warranty. Did you have yours fixed?

 

In the beginning when we got the car that happened a lot and it was due to my wife, using the volume button on the dash to go up and down in advertently hitting the temperature button. We’ve had the car since February and I’ve had some quirky issues, but overall nothing like people talk about online.

 

Tried to set ECO climate both on and off, same behavior on this end.

 

Did you accidentally hit the voice control button? Misheard climate control commands result in extreme settings for some reason.

 

I’m having the same issue, MY 2023, where temperature setting jumps to anywhere between 62 and 82 with no actions on any dashboard controls. Looking here for info on a fix.

 

Anyone get resolution on this? I did a road trip the other day and my climate temp would be automatically increasing without any interaction by myself - seemed to be based on outside temperature fluctuations!

 

I've noticed something similar, but I've only had my 2023 I5 SEL for a few weeks. At least once it started getting hot, and another time I was freezing. Each time the temperature was set where I did not intentionally set it. I just figured I had messed up, I'm still figuring out the climate stuff. I had a rear passenger the other day and she kept saying that she wasn't getting any A/C. I'll keep playing with it.
