Can some one run their VIN and see if it still comes up on this?

If a car is sold and OFF the Lot from the dealer if it will not be shown on this VIN check.

Sure would be nice to figure out when a car is actually gone without having to call and play the guessing game.

There are a few dealers that don't list the car 'in transit' and say it's on the lot when it really isn't.

Please tell us what country you are in when you do this. I'm wondering about the USA for myself but this should help others too !

TIA

I received a VIN from my NJ dealer who told me the car was still on the ocean, so to speak. I ran it on that app and it describes the car accurately, and says its status is: "AA" It also shows the name and address of the dealer.

Same for me, the dealer marked it as sold in the hyundai system so it no longer shows on the hyundai.com inventory or Find Your New Electric Vehicle, but still shows as in transit on their dealer site and hiepcs

FWIW, I created a simple script to watch inventories at dealer sites and quickly found that the info there is garbage... ev finder seems a bit better, but only sure thing is to call and ask. Script was helpful in seeing when allocations went out to dealers, but not in what they actually had available for reservation/sale... lots of dealers just got new allocations (yesterday/today), so nows a good time to be hitting them up for availability from what I can tell.
