Paint's a good choice.
Posting that Reddit choice about using covers? Bad idea.
Heat from friction in the pads and the stuff around them has nowhere to go except into the hydraulic fluid and piston.
Brake covers are never a good idea.
Look and actual functionality are two different things.
This covers are also designed poor without taking into account cooling effect.
Have them professionally done by applying paint if color is something you want to accomplish.

One thing to keep in mind is that caliper covers in a vehicle without regenerative braking is a very different animal than in EVs and hybrids, where the hydraulic/friction brakes are rarely used.

IMO, I wouldn't worry one bit about covered calipers overheating in my Ioniq 5 RWD.

BUT...again, IMO, I think those caliper covers look really cheesy, and if anything, I'd have mine painted an accent color. Not willing to go to the trouble myself, the cost to have someone else to do them causes me pause. A local shop wants $500 per corner.
