@rbdavis808 - you trying to go fast enough in your I5 to bend space and time? Wherever you end up you better have a DCFC in order to get back.

No, just wondering if I went back in time and bought an I5 again, could I get it with the 2025 rear wiper and CCNC infotainment?

I wish that we had waited, and not purchased when we did. I continue to feel that the 2022 that we purchased was a Beta version. Ours is an ok car with a fair number of quirks. Hopefully most will be ironed out by 2025. In the meantime, my advice is to wait…

I think the 22s have their pros and cons. Definite con is total lack of battery pre-con in early-22 RWDs (no physical heater present!). Definite pro for SEL trim is superior features (other than RWD pre-con!) to the 23s, and vastly superior features to the 24s. As we have a 22 SEL RWD we 've got both ends of this trade-off. Fortunately for us we never DCFC, so no biggie on the pre-con.

Our very reliable cars for 28 years prior to our I5 purchase were Toyotas, but it looks like it might be another 28 before Toyota makes an EV I'd be interested in buying. Industrial empires, like political ones, rise and fall.
