Hi all. We bought our Premium 73kwh Ioniq 5 on 21/12/21 and have covered 700 miles so far. Absolutely loving the car, it ticks most of the wants we... want. Yesterday I used the V2L dongle for the first time to vacuum my other car, which worked well. I came to the car this morning and the dash started cycling through 7 warnings, the battery state of charge said 0%, the car wouldn't engage drive and the wipers wouldn't work! I tried plugging it in for a quick charge to try to 'reset' it slightly. When I turned it back on it showed the battery state of charge as 78%, which is what I was expecting but the rest was the same. I called Hyundai assistance and the AA came out to diagnose. We went through the same process with the same results. The AA guy unplugged the 12v battery to try to reset it but it made no difference. The AA then gave up and booked it into Hyundai. It's going in after the bank holiday. Hopefully Hyundai will plug it in and simply restart it.
Has anyone else had to take their car back to Hyundai so far?
I've ordered a Vgate iCar Pro OBD2 reader in the hope that I can see issues if there is a next time.
