Chinese clone wheel trims

Im sure is there is enough of us and we are willing to buy we could set up a discussion with a wheeltrim company in china to do a clone ( slight difference ) of the silly expensive standard trims we have now.

Would anyone be interested?

Do you realise what the tooling would cost? How many wheel trims to be ordered just to break even?

It is easier & cheaper to find you're wheel size/offset(to make sure the wheel fits over the brakes ) and buy the wheels you like through them
tire rack, tire kingdom etc. Among a few

If 3D printing can't handle it now, I'm sure it will in the very near future.

Always find it interesting how "guys" get hung up on wheels. My last dozen vehicles had factory mag wheels which I thought were just fine, as I do my Ioniq Limited Ultimate. Now, I guess I have just opened up a can of worms!

That would be a large platten 3D printing machine to deal with that diameter of hubcap, not a home machine for sure

In this case, I think the value is in repairing wheel scuffs before a lease return since they like to charge hundreds of dollars for damage to those trim pieces.

most 3d printers only have a small bed size (200mm x 200mm) so not an option
