Norfolk (UK) police 'shocked' at car driven without front tyre

time to throw the book as far and hard as possible I think

Norfolk police 'shocked' at car driven without front tyre

Quote:
Police said they were "shocked" to find a car being driven erratically on a major road was missing a front tyre.
The driver was stopped on the A11 near Wymondham, Norfolk, by officers in the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team (NSRAPT) on Saturday.

The vehicle was missing its front right-hand tyre.

After giving a breathalyser reading of more than three times the drink-drive limit, the driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

Why shocked? He was 3.5 times over the legal limit.
Someone that pissed should not be expected to be capable of rational thought...

In these parts, in common conversation, some things are referred to NFN. It stands for Normal for Norfolk!

Driving without the odd tyre definitely isnít. There are roads near me that are barely navigable with a good set of tyres. 😄😄😄

What a muppet . Though I did follow a boy racer over a mountain road a few years back with two flat rear tyres just showering sparks at me . He was in no mood to let me pass and shook his fist when I did . Normally I'd pull over to offer assistance but didn't want to risk it with that moron .

Perhaps in his drunken state he thought he was doing a guest appearance on Top Gear:

In 1995 I flew over Antarctica where I saw the cracking ice sheets and shrinking ice around the penguin colonies.
More than 20 years later we are still arguing whether climate change is real.

Y'know, what surprises me about the Robin is how they never realised the stability came from the front (driven) wheels. Two are better than one.
It's an abortion of a car design that should never have been allowed out of the factory, and not into the hands of Top Gear fiddlers

It's no coincidence all the `performance` three-wheelers share `two wheels at front, one at rear`.
