Help!

I bought one car last year, but have two, at least. And I'm two, also.

Oh, how I love to charge it up and drive electric! I even stop at 50/60 km to recharge. No problem, as I do computer based work and services for customers. When weather is fine, and above 10 C, I can even sit outdoors and be comfortable, while charging for two hours. I start two hours earlier than needed, stop, charge and continue working. Phone provides Internet connection via Bluetooth (4G).

I sometimes drive parallel roads at 50-60 km/h, even if motorway allows at least 110 km/h. Driving slow and very, very eco has been a habit and I love it, as ong as I have the time.

But also, I love driving HEV mode, even fast and on demanding roads, sometimes sport mode. The car is so delightful! It's so smooth, performant and delightful. Love to hit the left paddle to downshift and drive by any looser in a Toyota. Even going a bit fast feels safe, when conditions are perfect, as , I guess, with any modern car.

Love the motorway to get there fast, no waste of time, ad at the same time time love to go slow, looking out on landscape.

Being obsessed by driving EV one day, no fuel consumed, to giving a **** the next, driving 140 km/h on motorway or speeding on other, more demanding roads.

I can't really get what kind of car I've got, and I can't get what I really want, hypermiling or don't care.

How am I going to drive today? has become my primary, daily question to myself, even after already in the drivers seat and started up. Can't always decide.

Whatever comes out as decision for today, love the Ioniq. My two Ioniqs, that is. One has ICE and DCT, one is an EV, at least I wish it to be.

An Ioniq PHEV is certainly scary for the ones with schizophrenic tendencies.
David H and andersmo like this.
