There's an even better Oscar Wilde quote, but I'm not sure it's suitable:

Its an hole hour of rambling and testing.

28kWh Ioniq
vs
40kWh Leaf 2018

Bottom line is, Ioniq beats Leaf in ever way, charge speed, efficiency and so on.
The leaf beats Ioniq in, bootspace liters (but its not usable space for dogs), Horsepower, headroom in the back.

SO, out 1,5year older car is still the best. Bow to the King, as Bjorn said.

Bjørn was disapointed in the Leaf from this test.

It’s pretty crazy how the Ioniq can out perform such a bigger battery. There were a couple of threads where people were considering the leaf for the fact that it is ‘longer range’. Efficiency is king for sure

What ppl dont think about is that Ioniq is 28kWh Netto, while Leafe is probably 36?kWh Netto...
The difference isnt as big as people think...

Its hard to say what the real comperable numbers are for Ioniq vs Leaf.
If Ioniq use 15-20% less power pr km... (i have no clue, the test Bjorn did was a bit incorrect)

Will mean Leaf has ~3kWh left when ioniq is emty... That like 30km longer range. (winter)

I hope, for Leaf's sake, that the difference in consumtion is way less in summer...
Short range in cars that sell in high volume = more charging-queue.

(above numbers are pure fantasy-guesswork)
