Post Tucan front parking sensors

Hi, I see the coverage on front parking sensors, I have a different problem. I own a 2017/8 Tucan with front and rear sensors, the rear work fine but to use the fronts when approaching an car/wall/hedge they don't work unless I switch them on via the button, the only time they work automatically is when I put the car in reverse and both sets are active. My 2nd car and many other models the front parking sensors are activated all the time when the car is travelling at a very slow speed. Have I a faulty car or has Hyundia deliberately designed them this way?

Don't know if your system is faulty or if Hyundai would have programmed the car this way but most cars have adjustments to the settings. If its not in the owner's manual, maybe the dealer can check it out and adjust if possible.

Yes I think that the “front parking sensor “ BUTTON should be on the right hand side of the gears {nearest to driver} and the “heated steering wheel “ BUTTON should be on the left-hand side - To me ( living in the UK) that would make more sense
