HSG Belt Service

I know most of us hasnt inched up close to 60k yet required replacement of HSG belt, I am having hard time locating this part or a part# even. My dealership wants to charge $500 for the belt replacement service which I am NOPE *10000 about. Belt shouldnt cost more than 60 and the labor involved shouldnt be more than 30 min. I just want to buy the belt and do it myself but I cannot find the part#

Does anyone know the part# for HSG belt on Ioniq Hybrid?

I will have a look on my invoice, mine was done a month or so back

not even a toothed belt, just a standard ridged belt, so should be easy to do, biggest issue is access to it I believe

This is the HSG belt. it located left of the ICE (if you standing in front of the car and looking in to the engine bay) The belt itself is $36.87 from hyundaioemparts.com

To replace, you need to remove spring tensioner

and hydrolic tensioner

Blue car, how much did you pay to have the belt changed if you don't mind me asking? I was told that the 50k mile service is about 350 all in instead of about 130 at 10 k miles.

Ioniq HEV Premium white. BRABUS smart forfour turbo black.Porsche 924S Guards Red(what else could it be?), Smart ForFour 1.3 AMT silver, Vindicator Vulcan V8 black, Sinclair C5 off white(and the whole vehicle really is off)

After my 60.000 yesterday I was told that was the biggest one at 250.
I don't think my belt could of been don at 50.000.
Will be checking at the 70.000

Your car is still under warranty? Are you sure doing it yourself is wise?

it was on a service plan so no idea of the cost per service

According to the "tick sheet" I received from my dealer(UK) after my last service the belt should be changed at 60K miles. Seems dealers are possibly doing their own thing disregarding the service schedule which could potentially cause warranty issues.
I can only assume dealers are not handing over the tick sheets if folk don't know what's been carried out.
