Today was a nightmare from start to finish from me missing my train to Peterborough to when I eventually arrived at dealership.
After I arrived there was a problem with their finance department saying my back account was showing invalid.
Anyway for a short term remedy, the dealership wanted me to leave my driving licence with them till I sent some bank statements. I refused!
Then they decided to let me have the car as a courtesy car, I had to sign some papers. They also kept one of the keys.
When going to the car, they put the wrong mats in that I pair for. I got the rubber boot liner though.
Also when turning the car on there was only a 1/4 tank of fuel I was told I'd get a full tank.
The salesman that sold me the car on Carwow wasn't there.
I was considering walking out.
I got a nearly full tank out of them and free mats in the end.
But as I drove about 30 mins down the traffic jammed both ways A14 I got a phone call from the dealership saying everything was sorted and I can come back and get the other key. To which I said, nah! you can post it.
In a word my dealing with Hyundai over the past 18 months have made me conclude they are the worse car selling company I have had the horror of dealing with.
That aside, I'm very happy with the car
I got 70.3 MPG on motorway back to my work and 67 mpg around London, drove the car to 11 pm tonight to get used to it.
It had 8 miles on the clock and I took this pick just down the road a bit.
P.S. You can add me to the map now
