Windshield wipers?

Hey guys

My Ioniq hybrid is now just over 2 years old and the windshield wipers needs to be swapped out.. Any suggestions or should i go for dealer wipers? (idk how expensive those are)

Regards

You can stick on universal wipers - I like Bosch Icons myself. The process is trivial once you have done it before and needlessly complex if you haven't. Bosch blades are in the $20 apiece range - I think OEM ones are double to triple that.

Your owners manual attempts to tell you how to change the blades yourself, so it is something Hyundai expects you to be allowed to do.

As the other poster said, Bosch wiper blades are very good.

My Ioniq was less six months old and the wipers were smearing the windscreen. Bought some Bosch aero blades and the difference is fantastic. I can't believe that Hyundai still fit the old style wiper blades as opposed to aero blades.

Anyway, have a go at fitting them yourself, it really isn't that hard.

If anyone is interested, the Bosch part numbers in the UK are AR26U for the driver's side and AR18U for the passenger's side.

I've been really happy with the PIAA Aero Vogue Silicone wiper blades. They're expensive at about 30 dollars per side but they last a long time and you can replace the silicone for about 10 dollars a side when it does wear out.

The 26 inch on Amazon.

The 18 inch on Amazon.

Does anyone know if the PIAA silicone refills are compatible with the Ioniq's OEM wiper blade?
