Mats come as standard? (UK)

Another question (sorry)

Do you get mats as standard in the ioniq? My dealer (again) has no idea if they are standard or an extra. (he knows literally nothing about the car or the motability scheme)

That's a bugger.
As its motability I'm not sure they will offer them as a sweetener at all. Some dealers have, others have said they won't give anything extra at all.

I had to buy mine but then again I used the Affinity discount scheme, I think itís called. So I got £3300 off mine as my wife works for the NHS.

Carpet type ones are extra but often used as a sweetener as @bluecar1 says. Rubber or carpet mats can be got from https://www.carmats4u.com/tailored-c...nwards-98.html at various prices.

Quite happy with my rubber ones.

I will just try my luck, last two dealers have given me mats for free, all previous ones refused and wouldn't budge.

My car was on motability and even though standard buyers get mats motability customers don't.
I was really annoyed by that. Especially as I was buying the showroom model that featured them. I even asked if they'd leave them in as a gesture of good will and they refused point blank.
In the end I purchased the Ioniq floor mats and rubber boot liner for £94.50 (they discounted it by taking the VAT off) which was cheaper than buying them off Ebay individually.

I've just cancelled my Ioniq with motability due to faults in the car so I'll be selling my 3 week old mats and liner cheaply if anyone is interested.

I also got mine with the Affinity discount, but I got the dealer to throw in the mats as well

I didn't think to try to get the dealer to throw mats in. The car came with the carpet ones anyway but I should have asked for rubber.
Here is what I ended up going with and I love them.
